I have attached the Excel sheet which is taken in this demonstration and the above details demonstrated how to create a project in VS for validating the Excel sheet.
In the Master Data Services Add-in for Excel, validation occurs when you publish new or changed data, or when you manually apply business rules.
When business rules fail, the data is still published to the MDS repository.
To create a drop down list in Excel 2010, you can name a list of items, based on a named Excel table.
