He is survived by his loving family: wife of 49 years, Shirley Clute of Conroe; son, Daniel Clute and wife, Dawn of Maryland; daughter, Rachel Clute of The Woodlands; grandchildren, Madison Carlow and Max Carlow of The Woodlands and James Clute of Maryland; brother, Larry Clute and his wife, Mickey of Nacogdoches; numerous other dear relatives and caring friends.

Roger Dale Thurman born January 11, 1946 in Shreveport, LA, passed away January 27, 2018 at his home in Porter, TX. Thurman; mother, Franker Moeller and brother, Joe Thurman.

He is survived by his brother, Richard Mayberry of Pottsboro, TX; son, Edward Thurman and daughter, Susan Mathews husband, Richard.

The viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from P. Doug graduated from Reagan High School in Houston and attended college in Kilgore and North Harris County.

He had many talents and worked for several companies throughout his life which included: Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore, Sunbeam Appliances in Houston, the State Highway Department in Texas, Howard Johnson’s restaurant, Houston Belt and Terminal RR, TDCJ, Carey Limousine Service and Conroe Funeral Directors.

Grandchildren, Joshua Mathews and wife Caitlin, Nicholas Thurman, Christopher Mathews and wife, Kelley, Ciara Abbe and husband, Chris and Hunter Mathews.

He passed away at the age of 76 on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at his home. He was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather and friend.Wendel is also survived by many nieces, nephews, as well as, many dear extended relatives and friends. She was very creative with her hands, over the years, she enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, crocheting and woodworking.In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the American Cancer Society. One of her favorite past times was spending time outdoors; either in the garden or just taking in the beauty of nature around us.Doug was a rock-steady man who was thoughtful, generous and extremely loyal to his family and friends. Doug and his wife, Shirley were longtime members of the First Baptist Church of Conroe.He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Thelma Clute and his brother, Charles Wayne Clute, Jr.Funeral Services for Ione Watson of The Woodlands, Texas will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at A. Ione was a devoted mother and wife who is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
